Muddy Run Recreation Reservoir — Attraction in Drumore Township

We visit here once a week in the summer just to walk and enjoy the scenery or have lunch! We also camped here a couple of weeks ago and I LOVED our experience! We had an excellent campsite and everything was clean and well maintained! It was exactly what you'd want and expect for a great family get away! No alcohol allowed but we had four adults and drank all weekend without any problems. What a beautiful natural resource, complete with an educational set of displays on the local history of hydro electric power plants, on the solar system, & on the trails & waterways of the park and it's surrounding! Well-maintained playgrounds; open fields, trails, & walkways; picnic areas as well as nature & stargazing programs; & even a public campground make this a true gem tucked in the countryside for fun family...

Real nice outdoor recreation spot. Boat rentals make it easy to get out on the water, but it can get busy on the weekend. $5 launch fee if you bring your own boat(electric motors or unpowered only). I've personally never caught much here, but it's still picturesque enough to have a good time. Theres a snack shop too if you need a drink or ice cream.
