a 12-mile stretch of beach on the Outer Banks of North Carolina that is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. The beach is known for its wild horses, pristine sand dunes, and wide open spaces.
Pros:
Beautiful beach with soft sand and clear water Chance to see wild horses up close Peaceful and secluded atmosphere No crowds or traffic Plenty of space to spread out
Cons:
Requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access Can be remote and isolated No amenities on the beach (no stores, restaurants, or restrooms) Can be windy and cold in the winter
Overall, a great place to visit if you are looking for a secluded and uncrowded beach experience. However, it is important to be prepared for the remote location and lack of amenities.
