This is a local, nieghborhood, trail with excellent, small, waterfalls. There's a main, gravel and paved trail and lots of social/sight seeing trails that take you closer to various falls. Seems like lots of locals use this trail so it's not unusual to see someone talking on their cell phone. While this is normally poor trial edicate, I was a bit jealous these folks had this really neat trail in their backyard. The rumbling of the water drowns out any outside noise.

Awesome little park hidden in Duluth. It feels very private and secluded. Beautiful setting. Trails that follow Tishcher Creek. The trail closest to the creek is unpaved and has lots of rocks and natural stairs and cool looking tree roots but, it would be difficult for some people or small children to traverse. It's a fun little hike. There is a paved trail too, but it doesn't have the same amazing views.

My most favorite neighborhood escape. ❤ Literally in my backyard, I enjoy walking there daily. Lots of people/dogs/runners depending on time of day you go. There is a paved walking trail, or a dirt/stone trail that winds closer to Tischer Creek. Lots of benches to listen to birds, the creek roaring or to just rest. My favorite section is Superior Street up to E. 4th Street.

Very cute small park, with little infrastructure and not very maintained. We circled the park a couple times and just found a parking spot on the street. Aside from the lack of organized parking and design this park is gorgeous, the waterfalls are tucked away perfectly inside this rather large busy city giving some reprieve from the hustle and bustle.

What a gem! The creek and it's waterfalls, pools and rapids look like they belong further up along the North Shore. Good songbird, insect and wildlife viewing. Wonderful views of the geology. Some trails are a little rough from erosion from floods, but the rest are well kept. Sturdy shoes are probably best to see all the sights.

Such a cool hidden gem in Duluth so many little waterfalls and streams. Very peaceful and relaxing. Many places to squat and relax and enjoy the views. Trails are pretty cool too. It does go up a lot so be prepared for that. But the views are amazing. Side note once you get to the end take the paved trail back! So much easier 🙂

Description
Congdon Park is an affluent residential area known for Glensheen, a mansion built in the early 1900s on the shore of Lake Superior. Various tour options explore the estate, with Arts and Crafts and Renaissance Revival furnishings, plus extensive gardens. Spanned by several bridges, Tischer Creek runs through the green, rugged expanse of Congdon Park, forming waterfalls. Hiking and trout fishing are popular here.
