Great for heirloom apples, easy to get to from Brattleboro, but the dirt road is pitted and needs a decent fill, but that's not their fault. The apples are good, but the little store prices are a little steep. However, I liked the other local items offered inside! It helps keep everything in the direct vicinity, so if you live close by, you can support other small businesses in the area. The most impressive stone walls in various styles are on display here. Stone towers, stone seating circle, stone statues! If you think you know stone work, you will be humbled here! The original barns of the still working farm are here and in perfect restoration state.

It's usually crowded but the people you meet are pleasant and just plain nice. I've always heard New Englanders were rude and standoffish, but I've never found that to be true. The staff in the store were busy as there were tons of people but they were all polite and helpful.
