I really love this park. The only issues are:

(1) That it could be better kept. There were sawed down trees all over the hiking area around the creek last time I was there and light blue pipes jutting out for drainage, which sometimes spoiled the otherwise beautiful scenery; and

(2) The access road (Dutch Hollow) needs widened a couple feet and repaved. Whoever is responsible for the road is NOT doing necessary maintenance and upgrades.

Other than that, this is my home park and I go here all the time. Instead of just complaining, I'm going to see what I can do to get the park up to 5 stars over the...

Wine Cellar Park in Dunbar is a hidden gem! The walking trails offer a scenic escape, winding through lush woods and past the fascinating ruins of the historic wine cellar. Disc golf enthusiasts will find a challenging course set amidst beautiful surroundings, while anglers can cast their lines in the well-stocked lake. The park is perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll, a picnic, or a fun-filled day of outdoor activities. A must-visit for history buffs, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a...

It's a great place to take the family but if you're lucky enough to be the only one around in early spring at twilight, it's a truly magical place. The spring peepers are singing, you can catch a couple of deer on the edge of the woods and the fish are always jumping. It's a nice, quiet place to gather your thoughts and center yourself. On the reality level, it's very clean with more than ample parking. And yes, they have frolf. Disc golf for those who have never watched Seinfeld. Bring your...

Well kept park with plenty to do if you're the outdoor adventure type. There is also a lake with plenty of room to fish even when there are a lot of fishers out. The lake is regularly stocked with trout as well as other fish. The park has disc golf which I haven't tried yet but plan to do so. Area has plenty hiking trails to explore. The area provides plenty of photo opportunities whether it's nature or history you seek. Fishing lake has handicap access via gravel road.

Wine Cellar Park offers beautiful scenic trails, a older playground, a fishing lake and shelter. Its family oriented where you can also walk your dog, have family picnics and hike together. The park has wooden bridges throughout the trail, a historic fort which contribute to the-rustic look of the park and it’s appeal. I enjoy nature very much and finding about this gem of a park was a great find I hope you come have some fun at this wonderful place.

Wow I've lived in Dunbar, even going 2 high school here briefly, but I have never been to the park! It is incredible and unique full of c harm and fantastic walking paths for my dog. This is my favorite spot out of all the dog-friendly places Mich & I have visited in the past 6 mos. Needs trash receptacles and doggy bags possibly. Also a crash course on the game?!? Golf, what??
