The park is great I used to walk every day there.i live 2 mins away from the park and my grandmother lives almost next door to it her property meets the park but for some reason Mr.Camp has a personal problem with me and now he uses the park to take care of his personal business it's a public park and now I cant sry foot in it because I'm a felon the park has never had a issue with me I'm 40 yrs old my family has been there before the park was a park so Carson Camp if you read this then I hope you are happy.its kinda sad tho you using that place to fight your on personal matter.Man up and settle your business that's all I got to say The park is awesome...
Read moreThere are some great trails to walk through here. Plenty of varying difficulty levels that are fun for all ages. The museum was not opened yet when we first got there so we went on a short hike which ended up being a little over 3/4 of a mile once we got back. I do recommend grabbing a map before going to far because a lot of the trails overlap. Once we got back the museum was open, the volunteer that day was extremely knowledgeable and answered any and all questions we had. It's a great bit of local history. The museum is on the right (across the road from parking lot), and the ovens are behind it. Grounds are open 7am to sunset daily. Great place, I'm so glad the owners allow people to visit.
