This is my family farm that is now owned by the Nisqually tribe. They purchased it from mt cousin Ken Braget.I am so blessed by the fact that the tribe now owns it. It was a big relief for me. This is my heritage and its nice to know that I am always welcome and I know that this will remain what it is until the end of time.The entire basin is a refuge that is extremely important for the fish and birds and everything that makes up a refuge.I am a blessed man to be able to enjoy my heritage until the day I die.Thank you...

Visited here many times to see Kenny, buy hay and meet long-time family friends. I'm glad the heritage of the valley is being preserved. Both the Braget's and Bennett's are proud to have stood with the Nisqually through the Fish Wars while Winthrop, a visionary comprehending the significance, backed Billy Frank Sr. so many years ago: close to the heart, though not in distance.
