Old Crow Ranch — Attraction in Durham

This place is a Gem!!! I placed an order on their website yesterday (that is extremely user friendly and organized), and received an email today that our order was ready to pick up during their farm store hours. The drive out from lewiston is so beautiful. Their farm is absolutely breathtaking. Their farm store is loaded with everything and anything you could possibly want (and again everything is so clean and organized). So, of course, we had to purchase a couple more goodies. We asked if it was okay if we just stayed for a moment and watched the cows. I can't even express how nice it was to just stand there watching the cows. We came home feeling so refreshed. I love this adorable farm store! these folks are mostly animal farmers, so their store definitely is focused on that part, and they always have lots of options in their freezers for meat of all kinds, lamb, pork, beef, poultry, including their own products as well as some other very nearby farmers. They also have a refrigerated section with a few fresh meat options as well as locally made cheese, and of course eggs. The rest of the store displays a few home goods/dry good type items, all either made on farm or again, sourced from other local growers/makers. The Owners are lovely and will talk your ear off about any of their products and how to best use them. But not in that creepy "we haven't seen anyone in a long time" kind of a way. just the regular passionate farmer...

We love going to Old Crow Ranch to get our meat! Their meat is delicious and they raise their animals with love and care. Seren and Steve and their family are committed to their land, their animals and community and this commitment shows through all that they do. Their farm stores also has products from other local farmers and vendors and their annual pig roast is an awesome place to connect in community with delicious food.
