I used to visit at least once a week in the summers of my younger days to go swimming and mountain 🏔️ biking. I later brought my kids a few times to swim. I had a friend who lived on Bennett RD. and I would park and ride my bike to the falls. There isn't a real waterfall. It is part of the Lamprey River and it is a popular swimming 🥽 and 🎣 fishing area. Popular with families. The chance of encountering a Lamprey eel is slim. They are further upstream and hang out in the shallows. Better fishing 🎣 further down river. I have encountered 🐢 turtles, though not the snapping kind. They do live and nest along the river.
