Patrick Ranch Museum — Attraction in Durham

Patrick's Ranch hosted our Wedding this last weekend, and it was absolutely magical. The ground were well groomed, the venue areas were clean and we had access to additional items (such as fold up tables) that helped support our event. The staff was kind and courteous, and made accommodations for us as we needed. We sincerely appreciated their communication, and understanding with our guests and vendors; and the professionalism throughout our experience. The October PUMPKIN PATCH is excellent! And run by such kind people, too. A very large variety of gourds, sold by variety, not weight! They have both the usual pre-cut, on-display gourds available for purchase, but also the pumpkin patch is open for families to go & cut their own, straight off the vines!! They provide shears & a handcart. And there’s a punkin’-chuckin’ sling out there, too! For $100, you can fill up the handcart with as many gourds as you’re willing to carry. And the price drops to $50 in the final week...

Had a school trip here with our 1st graders and we had multiple complaints from a number of the parents. Parents were not allowed to join their children around the ranch to experience the learning. We were left behind a white fence for 3 hours until all festivities were finished. A couple parents overheard some staff being extremely short and rude to the kids as well.
