This is a super fun area to explore. There are woods, cranberry bogs, a pond, little bridges, different trails leading off and connecting again, and the sweetest tribute to loved and lost pets. Things to know before you go: 📍Duxbury Bogs 174 East St, Duxbury, MA 🅿️ there’s a small parking area off of East Street 🥾 the paths are packed dirt and sand, and pretty wide in most places. There were some muddy spots around the old bog, but it’s a pretty flat and easy trail. We did see some strollers, but you’d probably want all-terrain wheels. 🐶 this is a super dog-friendly area, just remember to clean up after your pet, AND carry the poop bags out with you - there are trash cans near the parking area (we saw so many bags left on the side of the trail) 🚻 there are no restrooms, so plan accordingly (especially if you have young kids) ❤️‍🩹 if you’ve lost a beloved pet, you can come prepared with a painted rock to leave at the small memorial on the trail located at the far end of the bogs. #duxburyma #alltrails #dogfriendlytrails #southshoretrails #explorema

Gorgeous view! Not much of a hike I would call it a walk. It gets pretty muddy down the road. Not sure if I will go again.

Duxbury is so fortunate to have this lovely hiking park! Wonderfully maintained trails provide a wholesome hike to Kingston Bay. On shore breezes provides a rich sense of the sea. Rabbits, deer, foxes and more often join you...

It's a nice hike if it hasn't rained in over a week. When we went all 3 of our dogs were soaked in mud, and we couldn't safely go to the water because of the insane amount of glass...

It's a very nice trail to the ocean shore but you want to make sure the trail is not flooded. We had to back track a bit which was fine, but there are much nicer walking...
