I love mead. I learned about Unpossible Mead because their Bluebeary Cheesecake mead was featured at a local place I frequent. It was amazing! Not overly sweet and really did taste like you were drinking a cheesecake! Everyone at my table switched over to drinking it exclusively for the rest of the night. When I learned that this place was only an hour drive from my home, I was determined to check it out. I left with a case containing an assortment of meads. Only two bottles were the Bluebeary Cheesecake, which didn’t even end up being my favorite flavor! The staff and even the other customers (several seemed to be regulars) were incredibly friendly. I will definitely be making the drive again, and I have friends who have already expressed interest in joining me.

Such a unique business! 🐝 If you are traveling anywhere in the one hour vicinity to this place, detour and try their meads, thank me later. They have a dozen meads on tap. Make sure to try their Fuzz & The Flower mead, that one is fantastic! We also enjoyed Blackberry and Strawberry Tesla Coil, Mega Meme, and Tangerine Blossom meads. Luckily the owner was there attending to the taproom when we visited, he is such a bubbly person! We were the only customers in there for a bit so he kept us company, told us about all of the meads, he was overall fantastic. We brought home nearly a dozen bottles of mead and a case of their strawberry apple cider. The cider is perfectly tart but also tastes like strawberry jam. We loved every bit of this visit and highly recommend!

Unpossible Mead was a bit out of the way for me, but was definitely worth the trip. The staff is super welcoming and everyone there seemed nice. The atmosphere was matched with some excellent mead with a variety of flavors. Mega Meme was my favorite as it had a lot of fruit flavor, tartness, and some sweetness that blended together quite well. It was very refreshing, which isn’t something I often think when trying mead. They also had a cider, which although on the sweet side, was quite tasty. It’s a shame I live so far away, but I’d recommend this place to anyone if they’re in the area.

Great little place with a really cool, Midwestern vibe serving delicious meads. They have lots of interesting flavor profiles. Their barrel-aged bochets were a favorite of ours, but everything we tasted was top notch. I'm a session mead lover, and their Lip Gloss and Gunpowder hibiscus session mead was exceptionally refreshing. Brian and Adrienne were very friendly and fun to talk to, and the classic Midwestern street setting, antique tin ceiling and unique lighting and decor give the place a really cool feel. The oak bar top wood-burned with fractal Lichtenburg figures is super cool! Unpossible Mead is a road...
