Cascade Bay Water Park in Minnesota is one of the best water parks I’ve been to in a long time. It’s a perfect place for families to cool off and have fun on a hot summer day. The lazy river was a highlight — really well designed and relaxing, with just the right flow to keep things fun without being too fast. The splash pads and swimming areas were also fantastic, offering plenty of space for kids to play and explore safely. One thing that really stood out was how clean and well maintained everything was. Even with plenty of people enjoying the park, it never felt overcrowded, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. It felt like we had room to spread out and really enjoy ourselves. The food was just okay — the hot dogs and brats were a bit too salty for my taste, but the kids were happy with their chicken nuggets. At just $74 for six people, the value was incredible, especially compared to other parks we’ve visited. We’ll definitely be back, especially when the kids are tall enough (42 inches and up) to try out the water slides. Cascade Bay is a true summer gem!

Had a less than pleasant experience at this waterpark yesterday. Came to the park with my son and a couple of his friends. All was well. My son and his friends wanted to go to the lazy river so we approached the area and waited in line. My son wanted to ride with his friend, but also may have hopped to ride with me so we all waited in the line for a double tube. It was finally our turn so we made our way down the lazy river. Halfway through 3 lifeguards asked me if I had a second rider with me. I said not at the moment but my son may decide to ride with me. Each lifeguard told me if I didn’t have a second person I needed to get a single tube. No problem. We were approaching the exit so I thought no big deal I can just quickly switch tubes and continue to go with my son. I got out of the water went up to the two young girls who were passing out the tubes and explained what had happened and asked if I could quick exchange my tube as that’s what I was being instructed to do. Both girls said I’d have to go around and get back in line as there were other people waiting. I have no problem with waiting in line, however, my son was still in the water and that line was about 20 people deep. I explained to them both very nicely I’m not comfortable leaving my son unattended in the water alone with his friend and I’m just trying to follow the instructions the 3 other lifeguards had given. They both copped an attitude real quick, told me “I don’t know what to tell you” and walked away. I’m sorry but I don’t care where I am or if there are lifeguards present I don’t leave my child unattended in water. That’s a huge safety concern and one would think the staff at this park would be on board with that. Needless to say that left a bad taste in my mouth. The staff...

Two years ago I gave this place a 5 star review. I had to come back to update it as the visit this year found that almost half the people were swimming in their clothes. All of them from South of the border. The place was unrecognizable from just a couple years prior. The staff were not enforcing any of the rules, in their defense half the customers didnt even speak English. The same ethnic group that didn't think swim shorts were required as they are obviously not anymore, were also using the lazy river as a place to connect literally dozens of themselves together and went around ramming everyone as they ran through the entire lazy river creating total chaos and hurting the people as they pushed through. I finally had enough and was put in the position to physically correct them and teach them some manners. That is the staffs job to create a safe and fun environment for everyone, not the customers. Watch for this place to end up on the news as I can guarantee you it will for all the wrong reasons. Side note: they did not check a single person for drinks or snacks so we ended up being the only ones around us eating the food served inside, because we took the time to read the rules and follow then out of respect. Never again. Next time I will bring in all manners of food and 100% expect to not be bothered by staff. Especially when you charge 5$ for a small pile of very much not good french fries. Or 12$ for a frozen patty burger, all prepared by a 15 year old who never cooked in their life.

Please take your rules down if your not enforcing them! Please hire adults that can stand up to the mass hordes of immagrants who have no manners...

We love coming here every summer but our visit today was absolutely horrific and our last. First the lines were so long for anything with a tube and staff looked the other way when tubes were being pulled out of the backside, making everyone who was in the actual line wait longer. Almost every staff member I had contact with was rude and every employee seemed like they did not want to be there, very different from last year. I know its hot, but you read a job description upon hire and knew you were hired as a lifeguard outside. If staff is going to continue to be rude the whole experience becomes negative. Also I would advise anyone with a person of color in thier family to steer clear from here. I witnessed a family be harassed 6 different times by 3 different employees. I am unsure if she was the manager but as I sat in my chair next to the lazy river she called this family over and preceded to say an employee was intimidated by a person in thier party because of his size and race. This man did absolutely nothing for either of them to continue to harrass except tell her the kids she she was yelling at could not hear her(they were not his, he was trying to be helpful) The family ended up leaving the lazy river and the employees followed them just antagonizing them. I was disgusted by the amount of disregard for safety, racial hate, harassment and overall staff unprofessionalism and rudeness. If your looking for somewhere skip here and check out Splash Valley Waterpark instead or seriously any other waterpark, unfortunately this one is...
