I went on Mothers Day. It was 87 degrees outside in the sun. But down around the marsh, it actually cooled off a bit.

It took me an hour to get a round. I hadn't ever been to Jesen Lake. So, I explored a bit. Lots of people probably didn't judge how big it was and hadn't brought water. I definitely advise to bring water & a small snack. A few benches available around the lake to take breaks.

I would say a fun biking trail but you'll have to go up and down the wooden planks. Could be a bit of trouble. Especially if you have kids.

Otherwise it was a lot of fun. Great exercise. Also you could take a path or two & head over to the rest of Lebanon...

Great place to go for a hike, walk, or run. Pretty easy trail of your just hiking around, some elevation/hills but nothing much. The scenery is beautiful with forest and water areas and the trails are all well marked with maps along the way to tell you where you can go. You can make it an out and back if you want but doing a loop of however many miles you want is probably better. Much of the path is shaded which keeps it a little cooler which is especially nice when hiking with dogs. There is also a pavilion with restrooms and water fountains for before or...

I want to preface this one star review by saying that this is a beautiful park with miles and miles of pristine natural surface running trails that wend around a series of serene ponds. However, we parked our locked car in the well-populated trailhead parking lot in broad daylight and we (along with three other families) had our vehicle broken into. All vehicles had smashed windows and everyone reported items stolen. We are from out of town and we were completely blindsided so I think everyone has a right to know it’s not the wholesome place...

This Trail is absolutely beautiful. The whole Lebanon Hills Regional Park area is an absolute gem tucked away. I love how in Minnesota that you can find places like this hidden in the suburbs. I'm easy to please with Parks and Trails but this is by far the best I've seen that's close to the cities. If you remotely enjoy walking do yourself a favor and explore this place. (I can't wait to knock out all the other trails at Lebanon out this year)

This was a nice hiking trail. It is free of road noise and you can hear the birds sing instead. It takes about 90 minutes to hike around the lake. It is moderately hard. The trails are dirt and rocky. There are boardwalks as well on the trail. There are places to lunch a Kayak onto the lake. I did not see fishing docks here. Overall I will come back here to walk.
