Lebanon Hills had got to be one of the best park areas in the twin cities, I was just blown away. There are sprawling trails, winding through a mix of forests, prairies, and wetland. The facilities available (such as the visitor center and various viewing areas/walkways) are well-maintained, the trails are marked clearly and thoroughly, and there is an abundance of wildlife (in our walk we saw a turtle, many snakes, a frog, a toad, and a variety of birds).

Read moreLebanon Hills is a great park and nature center. Actually it covers quite a bit of land and you can enter the park at different spots on Cliff Road or Lexington. I always enjoy going there to see the lakes, the trees and to walk on the pathways. It is a great place to have a picnic. Also they have great buildings for meetings and so forth. Also. I like that one can rent canoes and kayaks...
Read moreBeautiful building, helpful staff. There are two docks to fish off of and paved walking trails here. There are also miles and miles of hiking trails and skiing trails (in the winter). If you do not have the equipment, you are able to rent it from here! I love this park and I recommend it to all nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts...
