I was quite upset when the mill burned down a few years back. The Mill was my go-to place for fresh spices, a throwback to the days of the general store. I just heard that it is rebuilt and open for business. I immediately drove out there and purchased replacements for all the store bought spices in my spice rack. The spices cost a tad more than the store bought ones, but the difference between them is amazing. The day I went, the museum was open. Read moreThe mill has been beautifully restored. The structure is amazing. They still have the small store where you can buy fresh ground flour and misc. Items. I took my great grandson with me, he's 12 and was fascinated with it all. While talking to the owner, they offered to give him a tour of the areas where public was not allowed so he really enjoyed that.
