I will try to do this experience justice with just words but that may be difficult. The wines left us speechless. The flavors were captivating to the senses. They were so enjoyable, you wanted to soak it all in. We have been to many wineries and never had such an experience as this. The wine choices were in abundance. And there was no flavor dissapointing. It was like a new record that no song was worth skipping. Every wine had its own unique flavor that kept us captivated,in what could possibly be next. What could be better than the last? The owners defined Hospitality as if they created its meaning. All the travels weve taken and wine We have tasted. This by far was the best. I dont highly reccomend this place but more so URGE YOU GO.It is a hidden gem. And like any hidden gem,The reward in its discovery is unlike any other. Ira and Laura have a gift for the wine they create. Because the way it left us feeling after a visit was truely a gift. Again, i feel my words serve no justice. Lazy bear winery is the best thing and will be the next best thing for years to come. So stop reading and go find Ira and Laura for a magical experience in the foothills of the mountains. Your tastebuds will never...
Read moreNot going to lie, when we pulled up to this place we all were ready to keep on driving and get out of there. Driving up to someoneâs house and going into the barn out back could be a little sketchy but this is definatly one of those âdonât judge a book by its coverâ situations. This was by far THE BEST wine experience I have ever had. Not only was Ira and his family such nice patient people, but the wine was amazing! They have the cutest setup with a wine cellar vibe going on. We opted to try all 16 flavors that they had and we were not disappointed! They even had snacks for us to enjoy while we were there! If you are looking for an authentic wine experience and are interested in trying berry based wines, this is your spot! Will be going back and purchasing more for sure. Thanks...
Read moreThis winery is a mom-and pop shop run behind their home in a separate beautiful facility. We were a little nervous pulling up because it wasn't a grand building like some wineries we had been to, but we are SO GLAD we stopped in. The owner and his son gave us a personal wine tasting in their beautiful tasting room, as well as a tour of their fermenting and bottling rooms - they could not have been more gracious! And the wines - THE WINES. They specialize in fruit wines, which was right up my alley. For a super reasonable price ($10 per person) we were able to sample all their wines and it was clear that they are award winning for a REASON! Highly recommend Lazy Bear Winery - if you're into a more eclectic and less stuffy wine experience, this...
