It was really pretty, and everyone there was nice. Costumer service was a 5/5 for sure! But SOME of the prices are a little overpriced… The slushees are pretty good and is only worth $3!!!(?) at the end of the night they even gave away a free entrance fee to someone who guessed the a number they were thinking! That was so sweet of them to do that. There was like 2(?) people who got the free entrance thingy and one of them was a little girl, she was very happy! One of the staff was extremely nice to us, you could tell he was popular with the kids aswell. He was the person that was in control of people renting skates. I don’t know his name but he was very bubbly (in a good way) He got us some kids to help us skate, but I’m not gonna lie, I was just very embarrassed, so I backed out. Theennn we found some different kids to help us because I regretted that very deeply and they had left, thoughts original kids looked very nice though! I do have to admit they were REALLY good. And the other people we met later on, they were extremely good aswell. They helped me learn how to stop (I am still struggling 😅) and helped my cousin how to skate with both legs (push off with both) they were nice and actually pretty sympathetic. We found out that one of the boys had been skating for a whopping whole 10 years! Also, sorry if my grammar is pretty bad, I tried to correct most of it, but I have a learning disorder 😅
I’d like to say thank you for the staff who helped me and was kind, and all the kids he recommended us (yes even the one I backed out on) I bet you’ll have fun too, BUT one of the people up front was kind of mean and gave us attitude multiple times when we asked for a bandage, and if she can break down the $1 bill we had so we can get a toy in the...
Read moreThe only pro shop in the upstate with a stock on hand to find the perfect skate in the perfect size! We were not pressured to buy the most expensive skate- we were actually informed that the higher price was indicative of popularity and fad preferences and not a quality indicator. We purchased two pairs of skates and actually SAVED money over the posted price on the manufacturers website AND were not charged for a rather pricey wheel upgrade. We came shopping during an open skate session and were given the opportunity to try the skates out before a purchase. After the purchase we were offered an opportunity to break in the skates by staying for the remaineder of the open skate session! Travis was very knowledgeable and very helpful, providing his assistance with proper fit and adjustments. In addition the skate surface was smooth and large, the atmosphere was family friendly even on a Saturday night. We also liked that there was no speed limit on the skating floor. Travis explained that when you pay to skate- you should be able to skate to your hearts content- as long as you are being safe. We would highly recommend and we will be back! Thank you Travis (and other helpful employees whose names I have forgotten). A+++! See you...
Read moreI booked a party for my daughter's 7th birthday. Communication was bare minimum. I couldn't get a phone call at all to confirm a date change and the information was never updated so I couldn't use the e-vites the booking website offered. We were supposed to get a host to help with our guests, a game exclusively for our guests, I had to go inquire about the food and drinks after waiting 30 minutes (it was supposed to be served within the first 30 minutes) so we got it almost an hour after the party started, I couldn't find anyone when we needed a few more plates and napkins and 15 minutes before our time was up we were very rudely told all personal items needed to be removed from the party room. Exactly 15 minutes later, the employee returned and was rude again and when he was told we were about finished, just needed to sit down for a minute, he started telling us he has employees scheduled to clean the room and the schedule needed to be kept and kept complaining that we were taking too long. I had hoped they would have made my daughter feel special on her day, but I suppose $200 wasn't enough for them to even follow through with their advertising let alone make sure that a customer...
