What a wonderful surprise this trail was for us and a perfect setting for a beautiful birthday hike. You can not tackle this one if you have trouble walking. It is part path and part rock. The path is narrow and weaves through high grasses and such. You may wish to wear long pants and perhaps a bit of bug spray. There are multiple places you must cross the water too and you have to pick and choose which rock to step on and some are loose. But talk about absolutely lovely! The trees provide a canopy throughout. There is one sign on the side of the road and parking for about 5 cars. "Google" the trail and the directions will take you right to it. If you are considering a nice walk of about 2 hours, do it!:)

Beautiful hike, often referred to locally as "Facci's Kingdom" or "Facci's House"... The first time we tried this trail, we discovered that there were actually no bridges across the streams -- only stepping stones! And right after the rain, the stones are under-water. But if you don't mind wading across (or come during a drier period), it's totally beautiful. Or, um, just stay away entirely and leave this beautiful hike to us :)

Unfortunately, we tried to visit only a couple days after a heavy rain and could not even make the first stream crossing a short distance from parking area. The stepping stones were completely covered by deep rushing water and we could not find any other fording point that would not have filled our boots! We will try again when the weather has been dry a bit longer. It looks as though it is very pretty area.
