This place is every spooky kids dream. Me. I'm every spooky kid, hi nice ta meetcha. But for real, this trail is awesome. Easy simple terrain for beginners to trek through and a more challenging course for the advanced bikers. The ambient horror is certainly a plus for those who love Halloween all year long. 100/10 will go here all the time. In fact, this place is horrible. Awful. Full of mosquitoes and poison ivy. You'd hate hiking and biking here. It's ok, I'll take care of it. You just leave provisions at the gate. 😂

This is a cool place and the trails are fun and unique BUT due to recent storms, there’s a ton of trees down blocking the trails . So naturally we went around and over the downed trees which then led to us getting totally lost . There are arrows to follow but because of all the trees down- you couldn’t really go that way. We should have just turned around and went back to our car right away . We did eventually find our way out before it got dark but I’d advise not going there until the storm damage is cleaned up

Went in for a quick evening stroll, spent 1 hour in circles during night time. This trail is honestly horribly labeled with simple arrows that don’t tell you the trail you are on. Went in thinking we would be done in 15 minutes (1.5 miles), stayed on the trail the whole time, and somehow got onto the 4 mile trail. By this time it was dark, and we had walked the 4 mile trail in the pitch dark for over an hour. We had come out 5 miles from where we had parked and had to be rescued by family.

The Bethel Trail Squad volunteers have done an excellent job in creating and maintaining these year-round hiking and biking singletrack trails for everyone. The main loop is one-way (helpful especially while biking) at a little over 5 miles in length. The advanced loops add another 2 miles total. The advanced sections include punchy and short possibly-steep little hills. Two bridges have been designed and built within the past year, to be able to cross the creekbeds safer, and expand the distance. The trails are easy to follow (think of it as "the ribbon" of packed dirt), and are marked with orange signs with black arrows. In winter, the trail is groomed firmly into the snow. There is bonus fun to be had, in the many leftover highlights to be discovered distributed throughout the former Haunted Forest entertainment attraction. I've visited over a dozen times there with a mountain bike in warmer months, and a Fattie bike in winter months, and enjoy...
