I recently visited Sachem Rock Farm in East Bridgewater and was thoroughly impressed by the rich history
of the property. From its association with the Wampanoag people to its meeting between English settlers and the Wampanoag sachem Massasoit, this farm has a fascinating story to tell. The property is well-maintained, with beautifully preserved barns and a charming two-story Colonial Revival house. I highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in local history and agriculture. The town's Center at Sachem Rock, which houses the Council on Aging, is also a great place to rent out for events. Overall, a must-visit destination in East Bridgewater.
Sachems Rock is a fantastic natural area located in East Bridgewater. The park offers a beautiful setting for hiking, picnicking, and taking in the stunning views of the surrounding area. The park is well-maintained, making it easy to reach the top of the rock and admire the breathtaking scenery.
In addition to its natural beauty, Sachems Rock is also rich in history. The site is closely tied to King Philip's War and the Wampanoag people, and the informational signs and markers around the site provide a great deal of context and help to bring the area's rich history to life.
Another great aspect of Sachems Rock is its access to the Satucket River. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk along the river and take in the beauty of the area from a different perspective.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Sachems Rock for anyone looking for a peaceful escape, a chance to connect with history, or just a beautiful natural area to explore. The park's well-maintained trails, scenic views, and access to the Satucket River make it a must-visit destination. I give Sachems Rock a well-deserved...

She was around the whole time and was bossy, she had 100 rules about the kitchen etc, what we can and can't use... she almost had a breakdown when we used a couple of forks from the kitchen. I ran out of tin foil to cover the left overs and they had an industrial size 1000ft roll under the counter, she said I couldn't use it which resulted in me running out to Ocean State - totally my fault for not bringing enough foil but really?
One of the kids stepped on the mulch of the flower beds and she ran out there yelling at him
Would return again if there was a...
Read moreMy daughter celebrated her 18th Birthday here and it was perfect. We had a DJ, dance space, photo booth, kitchen access, clean space and bathrooms. The decor is simple with wood trim and light greenish walls (we had a barbie theme and dance lights, so you couldn’t tell the walls were green). Beautiful french doors that open to the patio which is great. You can decorate but you cannot hang up stuff. There is also an EVR charger. Great...
