A Hidden Gem for a Family Day Out!
We had such a lovely day at the Historic Comstock Covered Bridge! The setting is absolutely beautifulâpeaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing family outing. The covered bridge itself is charming and full of old-world character, and the water nearby was clean and calmâperfect for the kids to splash around and cool off.
We spent hours just enjoying the stream, skipping stones, soaking our feet, and soaking in the beauty of nature. Itâs the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and connected. Great spot for a picnic, photos, or just making memories with family.

Two other remaining covered bridges in CT that are also listed on the National Register of Historical Places are Bulls Bridge and West Cornwall Covered Bridge, both are on the Housatonic River, and supports vehicular traffic.
