Memorial Lake State Park — Attraction in East Hanover Township

I've been coming here since I was a kid. It's a beautiful well kept property with bathrooms, grills ( bring aluminum foil to cover the grate and charcoal). They have boat rentals. They have walking paths. There are swings and sandboxes scattered near the pavilions. On holidays and holiday weekends the pavilions are reserved so bring a pop up canopy if it's going to be a sunny day. If you rent one of the pavilions there are horseshoe areas to throw. Memorial Lake State Park is formed by a dam that you can walk over the top. There are two boat ramps and a boat rental and a fishing pier. The water looks fresh and it's a shame there's no swimming here. There's no pool either. There are five very short trails and a large picnic grove with a play area. A beautiful park that offers everything! There's a sizeable lake for boating it fishing with a convenient boat ramp and trailer parking. Boat rentals after also offered. There are miles of trails all the way around the lake for walking out fishing. The bridge over the lake is also beautiful. They're are pavilions, picnic tables, volleyball court, several bathrooms.
