Genuinely beautiful spot to stop and fish/walk/run/camp. This is the type of park that doesn’t have gates that close or anything so you could go there and walk at any time. Nice views, kept clean, maintained, easy access. Great place to stop by and visit if you’re in the New Haven county area!

A wonderful walk. Beautiful views and rock formations. 2 picnic tables, one at the beginning of the trail and one at the fishing area overlooking the water. Not a long hike, but very nice.

Usually not too many people or crowded with being rushed with ppl behind you or etc. Some weekends and really nice days, lot can fill up. In the main parking are off short beach rd/shore drive entrance fitting even 10 cars would be a feat. Check other info on state gov page that will give additional info on entrances. N etc This morning there was No one there when i arrived at 945 am! It was great. Just some heads up to help prepare anyone. Great place overall tho....

So the directions that Google Maps takes you for this place take you down to a dead end road that turns into a dirt road that I assume is the entrance to the park but there is no signage. The dirt road curves around a few times and takes you directly into someones private property. There is nowhere to park. No signs to tell you what to do. I wouldn't waste your...
