Clara Lake — Attraction in East Wenatchee

Got to the Mission Ridge ski resort parking around 9:30am on a Saturday peak larch weekend, surprisingly there was only few cars! The hike was short 1.2mile but steep elevation gain of 900 ft. Still this is a family friendly hike with lots of families with young kids. There was spotty cell signal along the trail and at the lake. Larches were mostly yellow creating beautiful reflections on the lake. If you go anti-clockwise around the lake, there were lots of down trees on the right hand side of the lake. Moderate beautiful snowshoe through a wooded hilllside to a alpine lake. We snowshoed on a Friday morning and only saw about 3 other sets of people. It was January and the snow was pretty well packed, our dog was able to make the trek with us. We were skiing and parking in an RV at Mission Ridge so we left right from their parking lot.
