Etra Lake Park — Attraction in East Windsor Township

Nice area to walk and explore. There are charcoal grills placed in different locations throughout the park and tables with benches. There is some summer camp program for kids that takes place in July. It's in one of the buildings. I think they learn about nature and the environment or things related to that. I don't know if camping is permitted. Motor vehicles are not allowed on park trails though. It's a nice place if you're looking to have a family picnic or outing. Maybe not...

My children and I were visiting the area for the Fourth of July and wanted to find a place close that was having a fireworks show. Well it was an outstanding show. Maybe one of the best I have seen. The park is very clean. My boys loved playing on the basketball courts with the other kids and the good trucks that were brought in for the event were great. A little pricey but still great. I spend tons of time here as this where kids in EWPAL soccer program hold practices. There is good parking, a basketball court, small playground, restrooms, etc. Plenty of space to jog, walk, play sports (we did a family football game after Thanksgiving here), etc. They have some picnic areas with grills for thosing looking to do a BBQ.
