A bunch of people wearing masks running this place. I'm so tired of all the ignorance. A mask only helps the person wearing it, not spreading germs from their mouth. It doesn't prevent airborne viruses from other people infecting you, so it’s only value is if you are sick and you don't want to spread it, but if you are sick, just stay home.

The under education and how much of the misinformation that's all over this country that people just blindly believe...

Small welcome center with a lot of character. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by staff with smiles and directed to the women's bathroom without even having to ask.

They have vending machines and some items on display. Plenty of pamphlets, brochures and travel magazines that cover activities, food, dining and lodging in the area. I picked up a few and was given a small travel tote to keep them in. What an awesome first impression...

This is the Visitor Center located at the first rest stop you encounter just a couple miles into New Mexico when traveling East on Interstate Route 40. Depending on the season and time of day, it may not be open. Small art gallery and history museum with a video presentation in the main lobby. Get all sorts of tourism magazines and a free State map at the main counter. Clean well-maintained restrooms;...

Nice scenery unfortunately the visitors center was closed as well as the ladies loo/restroom/washroom/lavatory/WC/water closet/toilet/ salle de bain/el banjo. The Men's was open. But (t, the) I guess there's never a good time for cleaning & maintenance! We giggled that we should have stopped earlier at the place which billboard advertised " Go PP in a TP"! Happy Sunday April 16,2023

On 5/7/2017 I drove up to the Visitors Center see several people attempting to open the front door. I needed a New Mexico map so I when I walked up, I was disappointed that even though it was 4:45pm NM time and the sign said they were open until 5pm, the doors were locked. The bathroom was clean and the grounds were clean but it would have been better in the center was open.
