Tried to come out on the only day this season that we were able to. My kids were so excited, especially my 5 year old for the combine. Checked the website and it said they were open and no notices of it being closed, or their fun park being closed due to weather. It had rained earlier in the day but the sun was starting to peek out when we arrived. Drove half an hour to be told their fun park was closed due to "muddy conditions." This was not stated on their website. The only place where you can find any kind of statement about possible closures is if you scroll all the way to the bottom of their website where they supposedly have some statement about how they may close due to weather. There should be a pop up as soon as you go to their website with current opening updates. I've also seen others reviews about closing early and the ice cream stand closing early, we experienced this last year as well and were not impressed, however decided to give it a try again this year. Lesson learned. There are better places to go on the shore that are even more fun and have actual pumpkin patches (not just over priced pumpkins in bins). And they'll reply to this review that I cursed them out. I did. They didn't care that kids were dissappointed. They're only in it for the money, they don't actually care about families having fun.

Haha your response is laughable. I did curse, as I stated in my initial review, but I didn't start out that way as you are making it sound. We came to have a nice day with our family, and you told my 5 year old be couldn't go on the combine because you didn't want mud on it. Only later did you meantion anything about the supposed safety concerns. And I didn't tresspas, I stayed in the open farm stand area. But I'm not surprised at your response. You have responded similarly to other negative reviews. And don't worry, after a poor experience last year (similar to others), we won't be back and we'll be telling others of the much better farms on the shore to go to as well. You all are just a money grab and we should have known better...

Every year, since our oldest son was an infant, we have visited Councell Farms in the fall! We fed the goats, ran through the corn maze, played on the big combine slide, ate ice cream, picked pumpkins, jumped on the big pillow, and got our annual picture by the “gigantic gourds” bin, which became a tradition after I unknowingly set our son in the bin as a baby for a picture and couldn’t stop laughing when I noticed the sign below him later! Councell Farms has brought our family SO much joy every fall, as it does to every other family that visits it!

I’m 2020, our youngest son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 11 months old. For almost a year, he fought for his life and endured ruthless chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He was finally finished treatment in spring of 2021, but as a result of his treatments his body had a lot of healing to do and he was still severely immunocompromised. Given all of that, our family missed our Councell Farms visit in 2020, and we did not think we would be able to visit in 2021 either, but thanks to the Councell Farms family, our hope and happiness was restored and we got to visit in 2021! The Councell Farms family invited us to visit the farm after closing one evening so our children could experience all of the incredible activities the Farm has to offer and they got to feed the goats, play on the giant pillow, run through the corn maze and pick a few pumpkins!!! This business and the families that run it are absolutely incredible and a blessing to our Community! I hope that everyone that passes by this location will pull in and enjoy some of the many things they have to offer!!!! I promise you that you will have an incredible time!! You will leave with a trunk full of pumpkins, a belly full of ice cream, maybe a pice of corn or two in your boots, and most importantly, a heart full...

We attended on Columbus Day after 4:00 p.m.. Warning to customers that they close earlier then 5:30pm listed on FB and when you pay admission nobody informs you they close in 45mins. Note ice cream sales end at 5:15 or earlier not 5:30. When I asked them about ice cream and told them I would be back they didn't share with me the time they were closing. Would have planned our adventure outing differently if advertising on FB or the workers were more forthcoming. Not only did we both miss out on ice cream sales but future business due to lack of rectification as we were pushed out...Similar to the review and warning I put on Facebook. Shows lack of maturity and customer focus this place has where I was blocked for sharing my less then positive experience. They seem more concerned about verbally telling me about their high school worker schedule And that the farm market was still open which had nothing to do with paying admission or ice cream nor acknowledging the fact that they failed to communicate properly both online and at the facility. No apologies to or rectifying but blocking after letting people know the truth they close at 5:25. Interesting how they respond to customer feedback by blocking. Very mature. Hopefully with someone with maturity address this management as style. Do not recommend until they can improve their management, maturity and advertising. I review many planes positively....

The staff was pleasant. Families having fun. There are a lot of activities for $6 entrance fee. 85% were not wearing masks, probably vaccinated & didn't feel the need, but to each's own. I'm vaccinated but had mines on( my choice). Overall, my family & I had fun. Numerous activities from Duck race to basketball. There's enough space to social distance from others! I wish they had a larger, more challenging corn maze for my family & I, it was nice, but too easy! It was worth the hour drive from DC. We stayed for 3.5 hours!

Great price . My 1 and 3 year old love it! Tractors, corn to play in, swings, bouncing thing, and much more. We spent 3 hours here. $6 a person 3 years and up. $2 extra for the train (pulled by a tractor) ride. Great ice cream sold as well. Unfortunately no non dairy options though. Other snacks sold on weekends too
