This is a cool park, with lots of activities for the young and old. There are 2 play areas - one for big kids and another for younger tots and both are shaded which is a plus. It’s also nice the flooring is a soft cushy material. There’s also a picnic area with benches/seats in a shaded pavilion that you can reserve for special events. Beyond the park are several nicely maintained and fenced ball fields - I’ve seen little league games, baseball games and cricket taken place at various times. Just before the play area is a small rec center (various activities you can sign up to participate), the bathroom (haven’t visited yet to comment), and a skate park; just after the younger play area is a batting area, two baseball fields (with a concession area in the center) and a dog park! The park does get busy on the weekends but everyone has been friendly and courteous. It’s less busy on the weekdays and on a couple of mid day visits there were crews power washing the benches under the pavilion as well as maintaining the lawn for the ball field. It’s a great space to enjoy the outdoors.

Beautifully maintained park, cricket fields, and baseball fields, with a fair amount of trees to help shade the team supporters! Nicely laid out with fields on different levels and good separation between skate park area and all the fields. Good amount of parking all the way around the front and partially side. They do have restrooms and a concession area by the baseball fields when games are playing.

Great park and all open right now during Covid unlike some playgrounds and parking lots. Features full playground and restrooms available, skate park, ball park, batting cages, walking path. I come for the dog park adjacent. I come out of my way to get here as I dont live in this city. It's in a nice neighborhood, you feel safe with so many prople around. There is one side for big dogs and one side for small dogs. Both sides are huge! There are two drawbacks, however, the first there isn't a solution too: no parking lot for thr dog park and curbside parking isn't allowed on the street in front of the dog park entrance. So unless you are lucky enough to live in this neighborhood and can walk, you have to park in the ball field parking and walk a bit of a ways which if fine as it gives us humans much needed excersise too but it would hinder those who don't do walk so well but stil want to take their canine companions to experience the park. The 2nd issue which could be fixed, is that it needs lighting inside the dog park areas. There is some outside along the walking path but not sufficient for the park. In Fall and Windter we have to leave by 430 5 pm because it's too dark. Yet the park has adequet lighting until closure. Maybe if there was enough complaints the city or parks and rec could...

I've been going to this park since our Son was 4 months old. He's now 3 years and 4 months old. Always been a great experience. Always clean. Always friendly people. It's his favorite park. It's well lit at night, so if you're only available to go then, or your kids are driving you crazy (😉) it's a great place to let them run it/play it off - and, there are lots of benches and tables scattered everywhere to sit and relax at. There is a smaller play area for smaller kids and a larger play area for larger kids. There are even covered gazebos. The skate park is always a very popular spot with a very wide range of ages - bikes, skateboards, scooters... Very little kids to older Adults. Huge soccer fields and lots of baseball fields. Public restrooms. Even a dog park. I wish we had a park like this closer to us. Hope you enjoy it as...
