Always a wonderful place to go to for all sorts of events, getting your pictures done, or just to hike and hang out! My husband and I actually got married here, and it turned out to be a beautiful location that didn't hurt the wallet whatsoever. We made sure to clean up absolutely everything from our wedding ceremony so no animals would mess with it out of curiosity, and cause harm.. and as well it's simple manners. Just this year, we also had our babyshower for our 3rd child at one of the shelters, with reasonable prices. My only issue is with the shelter, which is that people from many previous parties did NOT clean up after themselves, so we had to come to the shelter a day prior to pick up balloon pieces and all sorts of trash. I was sorely disappointed to see that many people were too lazy to clean up after themselves, nor did the city tidy up the shelters for future events (esp when we pay to reserve the shelters), and the risk of our park animals eating the trash and causing harm to them from pure laziness. Take care of our earth and the critters we share it with, please. The new playground is awesome but definitely meant for a certain age group, but we are happy to see we got an upgrade! The fort is one of the best parks our town has to offer, it's very relaxed and beautiful!

A gorgeous hidden little park in Camden Ohio. It was so great seeing all the gorgeous colors, cleanliness is impeccable. I was able to hike alone and explore and was not disappointed with any view with in this park... They have a cute little covered bridge, some historical markers, awesome marry-go-round in their park, lots of swings and it appears they do a light display as they were working on that when I was there. I most definitely recommend this park to families, couples, schools, kids, elderly... Fun for all ages. There is also a nice little creek and many paved and wooded trails.

First time at this park so beautiful loved it they have 2 cabin like buildings with tables for like party's and shelters all with fireplaces grills and a creek that runs through it very well took care of there is one spot that has one of the little bridges where you can hear the water flowing so peaceful I could sit there all day and so much history on this land I would recommend this place would be a great place for wedding right now with the trees in bloom or to have pictures taken I have been to alot of parks and Metro parks and this is number one in my book

An American Indian war fort building 1794, as part of a chain of fortifications that were constructed at the direction of General Anthony Wayne in preparation for the defeat of the Indians at Fallen timbers near Maumee Ohio. Each of these forts was built a day' march from one another, such that the fort that is now Middletown Ohio was a days March to the South and Fort Hamilton where Cincinnati is now, was a two days march. To the north Fort Jefferson was a one day march and Fort Greenville would have been two, and Fort Recovery would be three. There is a small military cemetery here, with casualties from his grandma's outside the fort's walls. There are also two log cabins a picnic area, a picnic shelter, and...
