Gave it one extra star because the country store is beautiful, and the kids love the petting zoo. But the Apple orchard finished me on this place...I won't be back. There's wild roses growing up in the trees, so you've got to keep your wits about you if you hope to pick apples. The info sheet tells you which rows have which type apples, but there are multiple types per row, and the trees themselves aren't marked, so I have no idea what apples I got. There's an info sheet on which varieties are good for what usage, but it is missing several of the Apple types grown in the orchard. The weeds and grass are overgrowing the trees, and I can't tell that the trees are cared for (pruned), so many of the apples are tiny tiny tiny. Bushels and bushels of apples are on the orchard ground, rotting. The ground is covered in thistles, so closed toe shoes are necessary. The corn maze is advertised, but there is no maze to speak of. Seriously, just take down the sign. If they advertised themselves as a country store, pumpkin patch, and petting zoo, it'd be fine. Add in the orchard and corn maze, and the fall experience falls apart.

***UPDATE*** 7/12/24 This is the place for fresh produce if you don't want the junk from the stores. I started with just apples, but now I go for strawberries and peaches! The owners are super nice and really care for the people coming in. Follow their Facebook page for all the times to pick and what they have. Always a great experience here! Go early if you want the best picks for apples! We go every year and my nieces love it. A handful of animals some apple picking and the cider slushies makes for a fun day for the kids! I do miss their Snow Sweet apples they had awhile ago. Nice looking pumpkins and some gorgeous mums!

Giving this a 1/5 solely based on the owner behind the counter, when I first arrived I went inside and bought 2 slushies from the 2 women behind the counter, one of them was older reading reviews on this place is likely the owner with multiple complaints already and a younger female. We paid for our drinks and went outside to look at the animals in poor conditions and tiny enclosures and some of the flowers and pumpkins, we went inside to pay for a couple of pumpkins and the women acted like we hadn’t been there at all 15 mins prior, questioned us about paying for the drinks which we had already. The younger lady gave us no receipt and the old rude women was completely distracted doing her make up and accused us of stealing the slushy’s telling us that we needed to pay for them again, yet we got no receipt we told them Nevermind on the pumpkins We left immediately I won’t be recommending this place to anyone unless you like to be treated poorly and accused of stealing. The petting zoo is discuting and animal abuse it’s like 30 animals fenced in in the sun on...

Absolutely horrible service. After reading several other reviews, I’d assume we dealt with the owner and may I say she is not kind. Accused my husband and I of stealing when trying to purchase pumpkins (we had slushies in our hands) and she said “and those” and I mentioned how we just purchased those with her about 5 mins ago along with some food items. She then proceeded to ask for a receipt, which we didn’t have because we were not given one, and then proceed to tell us that we needed to pay for the slushies again because we in-fact did not pay for them or purchase any food with them. I then told her I would not be giving her any of my business if she is going to accuse me of stealing after spending nearly $20 on food and slushies ( mins prior. Since we did in fact purchase food with her, we got the apple donut, a brownie and some candy. The brownie was covered in little...
