This is my second season as a storage customer at Sugar Creek Marina. William and his crew have gone out of their way to treat me like family whenever I have the slightest need. Probably better than family in fact.
The property is quite large compared to other local marinas so there is plenty of truck and trailer parking. They also offer dry rack boat storage as well as shed storage. The list of things this place offers is fairly long and includes fuel, both on the water and in the lot, a full convenience store and tackle shop, breakfast and lunch, etc. If you don’t see it just ask. William probably has it. In my opinion, their prices have always been very reasonable. I realize this is something that changes with the market and the economy, but it feels like they make an effort to present value for money.
Something this marina is known for are the fishing tournaments. If you show up during the beginning or end of one of these and don’t know what to expect it can be a little nerve-racking trying to navigate the parking lot or boat ramps. Don’t panic. These folks know what they’re doing. Just find someone who works there and they’ll help the best they can.
Above all, I can’t stress enough how amazing the staff here is. I’m very familiar with everyone who works outside the building, Wayne, Mike, and William because I see them all the time. I feel bad that I don’t know everyone’s name that works inside but they have always been extremely helpful and...

Understandably, none of the marinas I called had space available to store my boat for the two weeks it would take to get the trailer repaired, or only dealt in long term storage agreements- that is, until I talked to William. He felt my pain, and said he would find room to stack it, and said, "we'll just figure out a pro-rated charge once you get your trailer back."
To top it off, he did me another huge solid the day I came to finally get the boat. My fault, but without thinking to check ahead of time, I called during the two hour drive there to let him know I was on the way to get the boat, only to find out their storage facility is closed on Tuesdays! But, ever accommodating, "no problem," said William, "I'm here anyway, so I'll just put it in, and it'll be on the dock ready when you get here."
This is how you...
