We were New Orleans vacationers during the pandemic and wanted to find a close by beach to visit since pool was still closed. My only complaint would be the porta-poddy being so far away. The beach location was beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous homes, with 2 pavilions w/picnic tables (1 on each end) so I do understand not having it close, but for vacationers it woulda been nice to have just a smaller building with maybe an actual bathroom next to the beach for children/adults to use/change clothes. Read moreCame here to eat our take-out from Kenney's Seafood just down the road. Is a small little public beach with two pavilions along side a residential area on Lake Pontchartrain. Several families were there enjoying the water and several boats were pulled up as well. We saw some kids enjoying fishing too. Only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is due to people littering with cigarette butts when there are 2 trash cans within 150 feet in any direction.
