We were New Orleans vacationers during the pandemic and wanted to find a close by beach to visit since pool was still closed. My only complaint would be the porta-poddy being so far away. The beach location was beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous homes, with 2 pavilions w/picnic tables (1 on each end) so I do understand not having it close, but for vacationers it woulda been nice to have just a smaller building with maybe an actual bathroom next to the beach for children/adults to use/change clothes. Water does get a tad choppy with the boats but...

Came here to eat our take-out from Kenney's Seafood just down the road. Is a small little public beach with two pavilions along side a residential area on Lake Pontchartrain. Several families were there enjoying the water and several boats were pulled up as well. We saw some kids enjoying fishing too. Beach seemed nice but the parking area and access to the beach was not kept up well. We ended up just sitting in our truck and eating. Locals would enjoy it more if it was...

Great spot to bring your family and saves almost 2 hours round trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the beach. Only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is due to people littering with cigarette butts when there are 2 trash cans within 150 feet in any direction. Great place to relax, bring the kids. They can build Sandcastles and collect seashells. They have picnic tables under gazebos. You can watch some of the sailboats or go swimming. 👍👍
