Morning Glory Farm is one of the best farms on island in my opinion. A family farm, they supply ingredients to so many island homes and restaurants. Thankful because I live just five minutes away! If you're visiting, it's a must because it's a great spot to stock up for food if you're staying in a rental and wanting to cook local island produce. Also a great farm stand to pick up beach food - they have everything from a delicious salad bar to baked goods, cheeses, crackers, charcuterie, and so much more. Need peanut butter? They grind their own and it comes in a glass jar (yei no plastic!); need flowers for a dinner, they have them; want some beach plum jam, they make their own - also their strawberry jam is amazing! Plus they have ready. to eat dinners like tacos, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, and so much more, easy to reheat when you're on the go. Morning Glory Farm - definitely a...

I really don't mind paying the exorbinate prices at Morning Glory Farm to help the local economy. The food is extremely fresh. But. I was there this morning. The total came out to $20.01 . All I had was twenty dollar bills. The clerk wanted that f'n penny! She wants me to break a twenty for a f'n penny. So for a f'n penny, I took my money back and left the produce on the counter. Good job Morning Glory Farm! Sure it cost you more than a penny to put all of those vegi's back. Lick both sides of those pennies, you've...

Regarding MG's adage...the reality is in reverse. It's not the family that feeds the island... it's the island that feeds an extended family at exorbitant expense. In one year, the price of granola has doubled. The chicken pot pie for $35. was basically cream, possibly cornstarch....Very little discernible chicken or veggies. I could go on. What the market will bear would be a more accurate adage...I think the good folks at MG will be seeing a slowdown in patronage by the year-round...

The breakfast sandwich was awesome. We had bacon, egg, cheese sauce on their biscuit. Super savory and flakey biscuit. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the eggs were super fluffy. We also had a honey glazed donut (absolutely slathered in local honey) and a cinnamon sugar donut. They were both amazing. Somewhat smaller than I expected, however, I feel any bigger would be TOO much. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Went on a Friday afternoon, June 23rd. It was busy, but had enough parking. Pleasant staff at the registers. If you don’t bring your own bags, they have them for 25 cents each. The market is a good size. The baked goods are huge and priced higher than you’d find on the mainland- but that’s to be expected. Their produce is top-notch! Hard to decide what we wanted. Definitely recommend!
