While they could use a bigger playground this place has a lot to offer. Memorials Benches Walking trail Dog park Basketball courts Volleyball courts Large pond with fish Covered group areas with large BBQ grills (like you see at most parks) This is just one of many parks around the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area, so stop by and enjoy. If only one negative, it can be out of the way for some since it's somewhat out of the way. Thank you City of Edwardsville for this hidden retreat.

Not from the area, but visited as this is a park with sentiment for our friends we were visiting. The park is surprisingly large for a community park, but has a small pleasantly serene atmosphere..the trees were changing colors making for a beautiful stroll, the grass is well kept begging to be laid on, and the water features/ponds are icing on the cake for an ambiance which invites you to stay all day.

The largest park in Edwardsville and relatively new. 42 acres of paved walking paths, pavilions, a couple of small ponds, a playground and a dog run. This park will really be something special in 20 something years when all of the trees start to mature. Plenty of space to do just about anything you could want to do in a public park!

Great park...but we were having a picnic and the guys with the lawn mowers showed up. The park was pretty virtually empty except where we were sitting in the Pavilion with the covers. We had two guys literally practically cut grass on top of us. Could have gone and cut grass anywhere else but had to be right where we were!! Very disappointing that these city workers didn't have "common sense" to cut Elsewhere for a little while while we were trying to eat our lunch. We actually felt that they deliberately did it because they had huge tractors and could have gone anywhere else to cut for a little while!! The park is huge so no...

This park is spotless and beautiful. Everyone was friendly and had pleasant conversations. I only wish everyone would keep their dogs on leashes. None of the dogs were mean or threatening but I do get a little anxious around dogs I don't know. The owners were very accommodating and calmly introduce d their dogs to me and allowed me to pet and play with them reducing my stress. I was very please with their response when I stated...
