The trail up to the Green Mt. Fire Tower is very steep all the way with covered rolling rocks most of the way. This time of year the trail is covered with leaves so it makes it difficult to see what you are stepping on. There is a beautiful path through the forest of Spruce trees that I really enjoyed hiking through just before you peak through where the Fire Tower is. The Fire Tower is set secluded in the forest and is so magnificent. Unlike any other Fire Tower I have hiked up to. The Tower is tall and has recently been renovated, looks so nice.
