This is our go to when it comes to a walk with our son. At 29 years of age he is very energetic. However not so graceful. There is plenty of paved walkway around the large grassy area. Once around is 1/3 of a mile. There is also a trail which wraps around a little higher but is still easily navigated for those who can't take on the steeper trails. This trail adds 1/3 of a mile to the walk, is a bit more of a hike and a little more scenic. My wife and I hike these trails occasionally and they are a slight challenge but fun and beautiful. There are additional trails which take you much higher and require more agility. All trails are marked and a map can be picked up by...

Wonderful location and most of the barbeque sites have good shade. Large grass ground to play soccer or cricket. Many volleyball courts.

There are a mole parking and lot of shade. If you are planning for barbeque, try and pick up a spot in the beginning or near the far end. These spots will have less sunlight.

The rest rooms are very clean and maintained well.

There is a $5 parking fee. This place accepts credit cards.

Please note you cannot trek to the nearby reservoir...

Perfect place to walk if you're a good walker or have ambulitory problems. There is a path that is approximately 1/3 mile that's paved. Plenty of picnic area and a nice lawn area for playing games. There are trailes up into the hills. Bathrooms, play structure and barbaque/ grills for your use. Parking is plentyful and they do charge an entrance fee. This park is dog friendly, but they must be leashed and owners are expected to pick...

There's a great hiking trail/loop here that's pretty much straight up and straight down that I like to do when I have limited time for exercise but still want a high impact workout. It's roughly 2 miles and 575ft elevation. The trail is heavily used, but not many people are out on a weekday afternoon. When you get to the top there's a nice view of the dam. I recommend it!

Great picnic areas by the large grassy lawn. The grassy area can get fairly crowded, but you can call the EBRPD ahead to see if the area is booked up. Seafoam trail has great views of the reservoir. It's also a great hike to demonstrate the difference aspect has on the vegetation, the south side is sage brush, the north side Bay Laurels.
