I booked this experience not really knowing what to expect for one of my girlfriend’s birthday surprises and it ended up exceeding everything we hoped for. Being up close with the alpacas especially the baby ones was such a dream! We arrived early, so we had lots of quiet time and space to just enjoy the animals without a crowd, which made it feel extra special.
We were given some treats to feed the alpacas, and the weather made it the perfect day to be outside with them. We also picked up a little souvenir that was so soft and super reasonably priced and Rachel even got to put the cutest birthday hat on it, which was such a sweet touch and made the moment feel really personal.
The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the whole setup with indoor and outdoor seating make it easy to spend a few relaxing hours there. We’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends next time to really enjoy everything!
Thank you, Black Barn Alpacas, for such a beautiful and memorable...
Read moreQuite literally one of the best experiences I've ever had!!! My sister and I came here for the meet and treat and it was such a great experience. We got a cup of feed for about 17 dollars each and stopped by around noon and stayed for about three hours. The alpacas are SO cute!!!! My favorite part was being let into the actual pens which actually extend all the way into the fields outside. Because the Meet and Treat is a drop-in, we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted (until the period ended) which was amazing. We had the most fun feeding the alpacas and everyone working there was so nice!!! Not crowded at all when we went either. I also love how they had a bunch of activities around as well, including jenga, a ring toss, some small kids bikes, a coloring station, and more. They also have a small gift shop with alpaca stuffed animals made from real alpaca fur. It was so worth it for the money, and I would 100% do...
Read moreMy husband and I went to visit last month because I love alpacas! Upon arrival we were greeted by workers who showed us around. You get 1 bag of feed with your ticket and able to purchase more bags. These alpacas had plenty of space to roam and I was surrounded by them when ready to nibble at what I was offering. The owner cares for the alpacas and you can definitely see that. He knows every single alpacas name which is too cute! There are picnic tables for you to sit and eat whatever food you bring. Who wouldn't want to sit and eat with alpacas near you? As we left, the owner and his wife just shown up and welcomed us for stopping by. They were super nice! I will definitely be back because given the opportunity to feed and pet alpacas is a happy feeling to have a fun time to get away from the real...
