We drove out of our way to meet family here for our annual pumpkin-picking trip, and the farm was beautiful with a wonderful atmosphere! We love supporting small businesses like this and enjoying local offerings, so this has become one of our favorite fall traditions.
However, we did have a couple of small issues. The farm allows dogs, which we appreciate, but there was a family dog on the property who approached our older, nervous/anxious dog multiple times, even after we mentioned the need for space. A leash or more supervision would’ve been helpful.
Additionally, when we were leaving just after closing, we noticed the main exit was closed, and we were initially asked to drive on the grass. We explained that it was a new car and that we weren’t comfortable with this. While the staff eventually did accommodate us, it was with a rude expression, which left us feeling like our needs weren’t fully understood or respected.
Overall, we still enjoyed our visit and love the farm, but a little extra attentiveness to guests’ needs would go a long way. We look forward to seeing how the farm continues to grow, and we’d love to return for a smoother...
Read moreWalked in to the main stand and looked around for some pumpkins. Then we walked to the back of the property. Saw on the website there was a pick your own pumpkin patch on the property. We decided to go over there. I would like to say that owner (Joe Buppert) watched us walk across street to the pumpkin patch. At least what we thought was the pumpkin patch. I would like to say that we walked past many employees and they never said anything. Also, didn’t see any signs that were for trespassing or private property. There was also a worker in the field that said nothing about this being private property. Then we eventually walked back up with our fav pumpkin picks. We got ambushed by the Joe Buppert and some other rude guy. Got yelled and cursed at by both of them for not see the signs that it was private property. There were not any signs. Eventually, we drove over to Safeway and bought 4 dollar pumpkins. They were gorgeous and enjoyed the experience of the...
