I was looking for a lake on the Google Map for doing outdoor exercise with my little boat, and on my first site visit at the Speedwell Forge Lake in early Fall, I was so impressed about the beautiful and peaceful natural landscape in the area. The unique views of kayaks laying on the grass along the lake and people kayaking and fishing in the lake giving me a feeling of a safe and enjoyable place. I decided to buy a permit and join the activities. Started rowing my little boat in the lake few days a week to exercise while enjoying the landscape. The Fall came out so beautiful at the lake with bright glowing colors of yellow and red leaves on sunny days reflecting on the water surface. Later in the Fall, I discovered the Conestoga Trail along the lake leading to the dam, with more beautiful landscapes in the woods and down the lake along the trail.
