As the majority of us, know IKEA is an iconic furniture retailer that offers modern and stylish furniture at affordable prices. I have been a fan of IKEA for years, and I always enjoy visiting their stores. The stores are spacious, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you find what you need. One of the things I love about IKEA is their commitment to sustainability. They use renewable materials and strive to minimize waste throughout their operations. Additionally, they offer a range of products that are designed to be both functional and environmentally friendly, such as LED lighting and water-saving faucets. The furniture at IKEA is also of high quality and offers great value for money. From sofas and beds to desks and bookcases, they have a wide range of options to suit any taste and budget. And if you're looking for inspiration, IKEA also offers a range of room sets and design ideas to help you create the perfect space. The food at IKEA is also worth mentioning. Their famous meatballs are a must-try, and they offer a range of other Swedish-inspired dishes and snacks. And if you need a break from shopping, their cafes offer a cozy and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry. Overall, I highly recommend IKEA for anyone looking for stylish and affordable furniture, sustainable and eco-friendly products, or just a fun shopping and dining experience. Their commitment to quality, affordability, and sustainability makes them a leader in the furniture retail industry

Do you ever get cravings for some Swedish Meatballs with some lingonberry sauce to wash it all down with their fizzy lingonberry beverage? We did and it was a quick off and on at Exit 13A in their awesome cafeteria/food court where it is actually for profit. The rest, that’s a hanger size full of items/furniture … nonprofit 👍 Småland playground where we dropped off our kids who are just within the height restrictions after the extended Covid-19 pandemic closure, it’s a win win. The drop off is 1 hour for IKEA Family Members and 30 mins for non members and weekends, plenty of time for the kids, not nearly enough for the parents/guardians. For the rest of the store it is one giant maze of displays one after another to spend hours perusing for decor ideas. They now have the Shop & Go App where you can scan everything in your cart🛒and go to the designated register for a speedier check-out. In order to get through the whole store and if pressed for time take the short cuts in the lower level Marketplace. As always the only wooden items that don’t need any assembly are their wooden pencils 😵 For anything that looks remotely complicated is where TaskRabbit comes in. Plenty of parking and the bonus, airplane spotting across from Newark Liberty Int’l Airpot. Oh, to top it all off it is at 3.3125% sales tax being in a UEZ area

Today, January 25th/2023 we went to IKEA Elizabeth to return our mattress. It was a full Haugsvar. Our mattress has a quality damage in less than a year. I brought the mattress and the receipt to the store. I have to say also that I don’t have a car. So, I had to take Uber back and forth from Jersey City to Elizabeth ($100 spent) and when I came there the manager “Marlene” in returns and exchanges told me that it was impossible to receive that because the mattress had stains. So, I had to take Uber back and forth from Jersey City to Elizabeth ($100 spent) and when I came there the manager “Marlene” in returns and exchanges told me that it was impossible to receive that because the mattress had stains. Okay. So, what would you have done with the mattress in case it didn’t have stains? Fixing it? Or what? The mattress was sinked or shrunk in one side, totally. It was impossible to lay down in that side. Besides that, I called first a week before and someone explained me everything, every step to do the return online and to bring the item to the store. And I did. But they didn’t receive it.. Also, it was very disrespectful the way in which Marlene and another manager (another shift) told us that there is nothing to do with that. They were rude. Rude at all. I was with my partner and baby and they were very disrespectful to us, the worst managers ever. Not education at all. Now, we came home without any mattress. We just left that garbage in the store. And we don’t have anything to sleep on today. What a service! We spent $400 plus all the expenses to bring that item there. I am really disappointed and I demand my money back. I hope someone in charge can understand this and contact me for a return. It is the worst experience in our lives.

Shopping at IKEA used to be a delightful experience, but unfortunately, that joy seems to have vanished at this particular store. I visited the cafeteria in the middle of a Friday afternoon, and to my surprise, it was practically empty. After trying the food, I understood why. The quality was below average, and even the iconic IKEA meatballs were a huge disappointment. Something just wasn't right. The mashed potatoes tasted artificial, and the peas had seen better days. It was one of the worst IKEA meals I've ever had. Now, I won't comment on the items being sold here, as they are pretty standard across all IKEA stores. They're affordable and serve their destined purpose perfectly. What I do want to highlight is the mistreatment of some of the items, particularly the living ones. I was shocked and deeply disappointed by the condition of the plants. How could they let it get this bad? Some were withered, others completely dried out, and many were even pulled out from their pots. It was devastating to witness this and it reflects on the poor management of the store. On a positive note, I think the staff at this store were friendly and helpful. When we encountered an issue with an automatic cashier, a young lady assisted us and was very apologetic about the situation. I don't think I will be visiting this store anytime soon. Visited in April 2023. Paid by card.

The first or last thing to do is have a frozen yogurt cone...or have one each way in or out. There are always new things here. This time I found an air purifier that's functional as a table. Fabulous. So many ideas and at such wonderful prices. The shopping carts are weird in that they can go sideways which makes pushing it difficult sometimes. The food at the food court is reasonable and delicious. The cookies and jams at the grocery area is fun. Enjoy. An update, there are very few wall wardrobes the go floor to ceiling and these do and I also included the stunning green units wow what an impact especially in person. The wall decor is beautiful and unusual not found in stores like tjmaxx and such. The dressing table mirrors are perfect. Great for dorm rooms too since not too expensive. The collapsible wash bowl is great for cleaning in that it has a scrub board on the bottom to rinse your rag and it has a rim and small handle to carry it around. It saves on cleaning product and smell when all you need may be a damp rag. The shoe rack with mat is great for winter and rainy days in that you can let the bottoms of wet boots or shoes dry out. I have never double stacked them but may try it. Very cost effective and space saver and looks tidy.
