This place is truly magical, I enjoyed every step I hiked on this trail. I couldn't even imagine how beautiful this forest is. Trail is pretty easy to hike most of the time, there are some rocks and trees roots to keep an eye on. Also be sure you are hiking in shoes that are not slick, leaves over the rocks will make you sleep if you don't have grippy soles. There are several places where you can rest and watch the river. Bikes are not allowed on the trail. There is a small parking, not many spots to park, so if you are hiking on weekends make sure you arrive earlier. I went on Wednesday at 1pm and I was lucky that there was one parking spot available. I saw several families with kids, seemed that kids really enjoyed the hike. If you are in Johnson City, you have to see this place....
