Elizabethtown Sports Park — Attraction in Elizabethtown

In town for the ripken experience. Facilitie, fields were all great. 1 week before the tournament, they decide to tell us there is only 2 other teams in our bracket snd that we have to play 12u teams. We are 11u and struggling at that. They put a local 11u team together to help fill the bracket which they looked like a 11u majors team. We could have went else where. Our umps were horrible. Runner runs to first in the runners lane, the box area down first base line and says the runner is out the base line and calls him out. Other issues but I won't go there. Long story short, they could have gave us better notification and let us find a different tournament but I'm sure they didn't want to lose out on money and let there local team ( the majors or triple A) win the tournament with ease. The fields were very nice, but the bathrooms were pretty gross. I was absolutely appalled that there was a child in need of actual medical attention and the "nurse" and others on golf carts refused to drive on the field or call for actual medical services. The nurse showed up with a smile on her face and laughed as though she was entertained to be needed while two children suffered. The child she was called for appeared to have a dislocation or compound fracture from our side of the field and she took her sweet time getting to him. A parent ended up calling for real medics and the main ref was rude to her when she informed him she'd done so. It's doubtful I'll bring my child back for another tournament here because of this lack of care. Nice facilities only...

To simply call this a sports park is a gross understatement. This is a mega park, the super bowl of all sports complexes. It is incredibly well thought out. Well spaced fields arranged in pods, this park has dedicated baseball, football, and soccer fields, along with a magnificent running/walking path. We were on the baseball side and each pod has plentiful restrooms and a concession stand. Great handicapped parking close by. Parking in General is plentiful but you may have to walk for a bit. Rubberized fields and they have even thought of the audience with lots of bleachers that are covered to protect from the sun. Nice playgrounds for the smaller children. This is an outstanding...
