There are miles of trails so days can be spent hiking, including to the top of a 500 foot cliff (hiking the back of the mountain.) There is often snow for snowball fights well into August. This is high altitude camping. The campground is about 1/4 mile off highway 130. The drive there is spectacularly scenic and is climbing or descending for 20 miles on either side. Good fishing.
