Harper Lake — Attraction in Elk Township

We have a cabin at Harper Lake.

The water is really clear, and is a good all sports lake, but it doesn't seem very good for fishing in my experience, yet. There's allegedly good pike, and decent panfish, but after several trips on the water, it certainly seems slower than other similar lakes.

There is no public beach on this lake. There is a free boat launch that's maintained well. There's a big public island. And a small sandbar on the larger part of the lake. Overall, cool lake, but on the smaller side ...
