I believe God sent us to this fine vineyard and winery! We were on a hunt to experience a winery and tasting before leaving Traverse City Saturday afternoon. Frantically calling around to many establishments to no prevail and with no true charisma with the response from the host we felt as if it wouldn’t happen. Until calling the Brengman Brothers vineyard & winery. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming voice who we now know as “Rich”. He told us to come on by and we’d see upon arrival. With a breathtaking view we arrived at our destination, and greeted right away. The ambience inside is just as immaculate as the surrounding landscape. We spoke with Rich for sometime as he gave us wine samples in our glasses to decide which to take on our walk. Such a great staff. To add, we even met one of the owners, I don’t recall if it were Mr. Ed Brengman or Mr. Robert Brengman, he himself gave such a nice conversation and openness to his establishment. Highly recommend going here. The wines were EXTREMELY smooth and not overbearing with after taste or anything of the nature. This is coming from someone who doesn’t drink AT ALL. Perfection in their brews, love it love it love it!!! Thank you all for being amazing!

I have visited Brengman Brothers Multiple years in a row, they are the number one reason I return to Traverse City every year. They are the epitome of of relaxation and peace. The property is well maintained beautiful, the wine (I’ve tried quite a few) is all very good. I have not tried one wine there that I didn’t like, even some that I wouldn’t pick for myself but tried anyway were fantastic. I also feel that they have the best food in the entire city. It’s all very fresh, they use local ingredients in their food and it shows. They are also extremely creative with the dishes the curate. Don’t visit without having the curry relish, honorable mention to the Watermelon Mezcal sorbet! The staff and owners who remember my friends and I each year are very hospitable and kind. The service and experience is truly top tier. If you’re looking for your sign to try them out, this is it.

We had a great stay at Brengman Brothers Winery which is located just West of Grand Traverse Bay, North of Traverse City. We were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to be hosted by Brengman Brothers through Harvest Host. The winery and tasting room is situated on a hill overlooking the orchards. The facility was beautiful and offered indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We shared a charcuterie board and tasted their wine which was excellent. My wife enjoyed the Chardonnay. We spent the night in the orchards in our RV. The climb to the top of the hill overlooking he orchards was fairly simple and we had a picnic table and fire ring. The sunrise over the orchard was magnificent. Thanks again to Brengman Brothers for the great hospitality.

No matter what you think you know about Michigan wines, you haven’t experienced the best until you’ve tried Brengman Family Wines. This winery is in a league of its own, crafting exceptional wines with an incredible attention to detail. Unlike many other Michigan wineries, Brengman doesn't rush their process—they take the time to age their wines properly. You won’t find the typical “fruity blueberry” wines here; instead, they offer a sophisticated selection that rivals top wines from any region including Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley of France.

Their commitment to quality extends to their state-of-the-art equipment and winemaking techniques, which result in wines of remarkable depth and complexity. The setting of the vineyard is equally stunning, with rolling hills and a peaceful ambiance that makes for the perfect backdrop while enjoying a glass of wine. I also recommend trying their Piccolo Dito Amaro, brandy and Truth In Dirt spirit selections.

Brengman Family Wines also offers the option to rent their beautiful facility for weddings, corporate events, or private gatherings, making it an ideal location for special occasions. Robert & Ed Brengman set a new standard for what Michigan wine...

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!! We had friends from out of town visiting and we wanted to show them some of the awesome wineries on the west side. This place was one of the few that we had never been to. We looked up their hours on-line and saw that they were open until 7pm so we decided to give them a try. We arrived shortly after 6pm, and had just turned off our vehicle and were getting out of our car, when we were promptly met by someone from inside. He first asked if we were members, which replied that we were not. Then he proceeded to tell us that they were closing early because "business had been slow." Seriously?!!! They had 45 minutes left on their day, the sign said open, but yet, they were closing?! We were totally pissed off, and in my opinion, what a terrible place. Who does that?! I will NEVER, set foot in this place or recommend it to anyone. Anyone who is that rude does not deserve to be...
