For 37 years, I have driven up to Inspiration Point during trips to "The Lake". It is one of the most beautiful vista's in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and the entire country. You can see "The Lake", Lake Michigan, North/South Manitou Island. If you're blessed enough to spend time in this area, respect it. You will be inspired if you do.

Good scenic view of Sleeping Bear and surrounding lakes. Small turn about which was not busy at all when I visited. There were portapottys on the far end of the pull in that were hard to see but they are there. The view is a bit overgrown and could use some trimming. Good for a quick stop with a view. Not much else at this spot other than that.
