Greene Acres Farm — Attraction in Empire

So worth a visit with your babies. They have upgraded their area to have a number of play areas for the kiddos, with seating in the shade for parents. Their U-pick is pretty fun. I will say their fields (I’ve done all the berries, pumpkin, and flower options) are not well maintained and you will more than likely have to walk through tall grass and weeds. So far, we have not been treated by a snake which is really my only concern with it.

Highly recommend visiting at Christmas! It’s a magical Christmas village full of dazzling lights from top to bottom and everywhere in between.

The Fall pumpkin patch and kids activities are fun, largely for toddler to early elementary-aged kids. There is a tractor with passenger trailer tow out to the pumpkins for pick-your-own fun. Pay for your pumpkins as you leave. Several old tractors are strategically placed with straw bales for photo opportunities. Hot food is available as are drinks such as sodas, powerades, and water. Farm animal feed is available for purchase with pot-belly pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, goats, and a donkey for feeding and some petting. A most wonderful place! A common spot for in-state tourism is Dickey Farms. They are known for their peach ice cream and good peaches. Well- IMO This place is better! It’s less commercialized, still has some really great ice cream (probably cheaper too) and a lot more space for people to gather— meaning less crowding!

And thats just comparing it to another peach place in the summer. I hear they have a lot more to offer throughout the year. We will be back!! 💗💗💗🍑
