Nice trail, more of a moderate walk than a hike, in my opinion (my perspective: I am a relatively active person who works out at least 5x a week and runs regularly).
People of all ages were out so almost anyone should be able to complete this trail. Benches are scattered on the sides as you walk through so there’s room for snack and water breaks.
Things to note: I highly recommend wearing a hat or sunglasses as there is little tree coverage. The trail is mostly sandy, no need for hiking boots if you plan to stick to the trail.

La Orilla Trail is connected to other trails and can take you all the way to i-5, Annie's canyon, or to 101 or even to Cardiff Beach, as far as you'd like to walk. But this trail is a bit more secluded, and you will walk through tall bushes in the beginning. I didn't find any amenities except occasional trail marks.
