Pickerel Lake Recreation Area - West Unit — Attraction in Enemy Swim District

We had reserved a site online so didn't know exactly what it would be like. Got there (first time here) found there is no office to ask questions. Found our site only to find it must have been a new site as it was very soft & uneven. Good thing we carry a lot of extra boards to put under wheels. Don't like the extremely high banks so you are at risk of breaking a leg every time you step out of camper. Fire pit not very close. Site was mowed & clean. We just got back from vacation here, and I was super bummed that the cabin wasn't close to the water. We had to drive to the beach and to the fishing area. Something to consider when going.
